Morning Kisses

Morning Kisses by Carolyn Brennan-Tucker - this painting was inspired by the landscape near Alice Springs.

“I named this painting Morning Kisses, because even though I have lived here amongst the beautiful Harts Ranges for 10 years now, I never ever tire of watching how the sun greets the mountains every morning, with the softest, and gentlest of kisses - momentarily but totally, changing the colours of the landscape to these delicate pinks and mauves before turning back to the less inspiring but still impressive daytime hues. Usually, I like to start a painting and work on it until it's finished. Usually taking no more than 3 full days. However, this painting has taken me 9 months to complete, as I could only work on it every holiday when I visited Elle! I hope this painting helps to bring you a feeling of gratefulness for being a part of this amazing world. xx.” - Carolyn.

The edges of the canvas are painted to extend the beautiful painting on the front - it would almost be a shame to frame it and miss out on more of the painting!
