Cancer by Elle Pervez - Cancer is a print from my collection, ‘A Tale of Land and Sky’. This collection brings together my love of land and sky, of constellations, and the stories we tell to bring meaning and connections to our daily lives.

Meet Cancer, daughter of the moon. An element of water, Cancer lives a life of beautiful moments and memories, demanding to feel her way curiously through life’s adventures with an open heart. My daughter’s sign is Cancer, so perhaps my interpretation of the sign is a little whimsical, a little hopeful, but resonates with me nonetheless. I wanted my painting to have a beautiful softness to it to really draw in the nature of water in moonlight and give a restful sort of energy to the landscape.
