Reach For The Sky by Carolyn Brennan-Tucker - this painting was inspired by the landscape near Timber Creek, Australia.
“I am a definite fan of the black stormy sky; I find it really hard to paint a blue sky, and from my observations it doesn't matter how crazy you paint a sky, in real life it will be crazier! My painting has the red cliffs of the desert, the beautiful, hardy and delicate ghost gum, a little colony of spinifex plants, and a wonderful puddle of water. A gorgeous refreshing painting that captures the essential hopeful spirit of humans. I call this painting: Reach for the Sky.” - Carolyn.
The edges of the canvas are painted to extend the beautiful painting on the front - it would almost be a shame to frame it and miss out on more of the painting!
