“I will call this painting, ‘Summer Heat’, because for me it epitomises summer in all its blonde grass, blue sky, red rock glory. I love the changing seasons, the sense of the scorching sun cleansing the earth with its scalding heat, and the grass changing colour until it is bleached so blonde that it hurts your eyes to look at it.” - Carolyn.
The edges of the canvas are painted to extend the beautiful painting on the front - it would almost be a shame to frame it and miss out on more of the painting!
